How do I draw on top of PowerPoint slides during a presentation?
Hi everyone,
I just installed PenSlide and I want to use it during PowerPoint presentations. I would like to draw arrows and highlight important parts while presenting.
A few questions:
Can PenSlide stay on top of PowerPoint?
Which shortcut key starts drawing mode?
Is there a way to quickly clear all drawings?
Can I save the annotated screen as an image afterwards?
I am using Windows 11.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, PenSlide can stay on top of PowerPoint during presentations.
Once PenSlide is running, start your slideshow in PowerPoint and then activate drawing mode in PenSlide. The app should remain visible over the presentation so you can draw, highlight, or point to important areas live.
Default shortcuts may depend on your current version, but usually:
Ctrl + D starts drawing mode
Esc exits drawing mode
Ctrl + C clears drawings
You can also clear all annotations from the toolbar.
To save your work:
Use the screenshot or export option inside PenSlide.
This lets you save the annotated screen as an image.
If drawing does not appear over PowerPoint:
Run PenSlide as Administrator.
Make sure “Always on Top” is enabled in settings.
Try windowed slideshow mode in PowerPoint.
Hope that helps.
